Growing Mind

I thought I woud be happy to be a child infinitely
things came so easy; I did not have to think so deeply
Mama did all the thinking what was best for me
My sister would whisper an idea
I wwould right away copy
My dad solved math problems that my teacher
checked contentedly

They finished what I need to accomplish
they act like a slave
And i act like a princess
I need not to worry because others worry for me

but as the clock ticking and saying that I need to grow
Myself awaked and so now
I dont leap into something right away but think seriously through the day
I learned that i should try my way
and not to depend on what they say
I have grown; I am not a child anymore
I am happier that my mind can soar.

Luna

Misty orb like structures
Up above my eyes have captured
It's light that shines in the windy night
Fights its way out of the clouds might
The way it plays along with the stars and sky
Makes me wish for the impossible and sigh
I want to touch it, hold and grab it
So I lift my hands, as I lay my back into the ground
And realized that I felt its warmth into my hands
I gently caressed its silhouette
Then all of a sudden I pirouette
I felt something stike me
A pain in my face
Then I woke up
I saw my teacher with fiery eyes
Iit was just a dream
And now I'm alone with the dean

are you a facebook addict?

some signs that you are addicted to Facebook:

* You lose sleep over Facebook. When using Facebook becomes a compulsion and you spend entire nights logged on to the site, causing you to become tired the next day.

* You spend more than an hour a day on Facebook. Lipari said it is difficult to define how much is too much when it comes to Facebook usage, but that an average person need only spend half an hour on the site.

* You become obsessed with old loves or exes you reconnect with on Facebook.

* You ignore work in favor of Facebook. This means you do not do your job in order to sneak time on Facebook.

* The thought of getting off Facebook leaves you in cold sweat. If you try going a day without Facebook and it causes you stress and anxiety, this means you need help.

never underestimate love

Well, think about this. What makes it not real? I can see though, how many adults would think so. For it always seems we say we're in love when we're not. But tell me this. What makes it so different when adults say it? Just because of more 'experience'. No matter what age you are, even if your 4, you'll know what love is when you find it. Love is a complicated subject. Yes, we all think we're in love at one point in life when we're not. That applies to you grown-ups too. But think about this, how can you say for the teens whether they are or not? How??? You aren't in their shoes, you don't feel their heart nor their deepest emotions. It's easy to get deep infatuation confused with love. It is. I've been there...Once. But hey, one time does count. Does it not? Fortunately, I realized my mistake immediately. It cost me dearly. And I mean dearly. But we all make mistakes. Now when you say teens can't be in love, you are saying fish can't swim. Because people, open your eyes, you might just find that through deepest hopes and dreams, love isn't to be underestimated.

peer pressure

Rivalry is common among teenagers because at this point of time young boys and girls develop the insecurity thing, they feel inferiority among their friends or the other way around, feeling superior over others and this causes the rival.Teens having lower self-esteem become pretenders just to suit themselves with their friends, they forget to show up the real them that's why instead of boosting up their personality they just let others' identity conquer them which won't bring them any good. They may also be puppets of those who feels superior over them.

On the other hand, those who feels superior are those youngsters full of pride as if they were the greatest, prettiest and smartest that leads them to insult others and to hurt someone else, emotionally and even physically. They think they're gods and goddesses who have power over the others. These results insecurity specially to those who don't have the guts like those who let pride and vanity invade them. Peer pressure would start here because in every circle of friends there must be the proud one and inferior one. The inferior one would always want to meet the level of the proud one, and the proud would always make those who are inferior to him feel down.

the ring

Ring symbolizes love, as it binds two persons as one. It is usually men's gift to someone who is special for them. As for friends, there's the friendship ring, for lovers, there's the couple ring, for a man who would propose to her lady love, there's the engagement ring that leads them towards the next level being each other's fiance which soon will be husband and wife bound by the most significant ring a person would have, the wedding ring. These just shows how ring plays a very important role to couple's lives as it denotes love towards the other but no matter what kind of ring, how precious it is, the thing is that without it still every couple must be bound with the best ring of all, the ring of love, take note...it's priceless.

world of teens

Teens nowadays are classified into different genres. It is how they express themselves or maybe they are just hooked up with that specific fashion. Well, no single person is very much alike yet with these so called genres at least they have a common denominator wherein they have a chance to engage themselves to something that they can agree with just like what the saying says “birds with the same feathers flock together”.
With the girls, as we all know ladies have this passion for fashion that led them to be called as” fashionistas” which is commonly called “kikays”. These fashionistas are the girls hooked up with super girly things such as colorful, sexy and stylish dresses, fancy accessories, pumps, wedges, and high-heeled sandals. They go gaga over make-ups, perfumes and they even get themselves busy thinking over what shade of hair they’ll have for the month.
With the guys, we have those hip-hops having street parties all around. They are the boys who wear the so-big t-shirts hanging over them, accessorized with shiny bling-blings, nice caps, and attention getter shoes which match their tops. They are the life of the party, dancing for them is a fashion.
These two genres are the most common genres among youngsters but teens today made their own to be known.
There’s this Emo’s, the emotional, persons who are melancholic, depressed, alone and thinks life is full of misery. I don’t know if they’re just really sad and depressed or they just want to be specified as emo. Emo? The people who loves black with pierce all over their face, living in silence and sometimes suicidal. Some looks like an emo but they would say they’re punks, they’re thrashers. Whatever they call themselves they are alike in a way that they have the passion for music which is seldom mellow and mostly loud specially doing the screamo thing, i-pods and skateboards are their best friends.
We also have the geeks, or commonly called as the nerds. The bookworm and knows nothing but to study. They look weird, wearing high waist pants with striped tops and of course, they also have their accessories, their big eyeglasses.
Lastly, the persons who don’t know where they belong among those genres discussed, the people who wears what makes them comfortable and not for the sake of fashion. Make way for the simple persons.
And don’t forget whatever genre you are in as long as you know how to compromise, deal with others and socialize with them in a way you will be treated the way you want it makes you belong in one group, the teenagers.
